Novel Ideas Everybody, get a piece of paper! You are going to copy what you see in the next transparency. You will have 3 minutes to brainstorm and write down together possible responses to the question posed. After one teammate offers an idea, someone else seconds it and everybody writes down the idea. The hardest part of love is the letting go. – –What does this mean to you? resolve – (verb) firmness of purpose or intent; determination. – –I watched it fly away from me with it's brightened self resolve. uncharted – (adj.) a place or area not yet mapped, or investigated – –Like an ark on uncharted seas, their lives will be tossed. Mind Mirror In groups, you are now going to collaboratively create a mind mirror for 1 of the two characters in the song, “The Hardest Part of Love” The Mind Mirror should show the character’s situation, thoughts, concerns, wishes, dreams, or dilemmas. To present the character’s state of mind your Mind Mirror should contain at least: – –Two quotes from the song properly marked with quotation marks. – –Two original phrases created by your group about the character that fits the circumstances of the song. – –Two symbols that relate to the song and the character’s situation. – –Two relevant drawings.
