RESOLUTIONS FOR 2010 JOSHUA 3:4
2
Did you make any resolutions for the New Year? Have you broken any of those resolutions you made? Some resolutions get broken because they are made with unbelievable and unrealistic expectations. Others get broken because they are made half-heartedly. Good resolutions are necessary for moral and spiritual advancement. For 2010 Let Us Resolve To: Today we can make certain resolutions that we can keep.
3
Make This Year A Happy Year. Attitude determines altitude. We can choose to make this a happy year or a miserable year. True happiness comes from God! Christians, more than any other group of people, have more reasons to be happy and rejoice. Psalms 144:15 Happy are the people who are in such a state; Happy are the people whose God is the Lord!
4
Because Jesus Christ left heaven and to came to this earth in the form of a man: Because He died and was buried: Because He was resurrected three days after His crucifixion: We know that we have been reconciled back to God and salvation is ours. Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! This is a great reason to rejoice and be happy. Philippians 3:1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.
5
Not To Let Others Make Or Brake Your Day This is thermometer living. We should never let external things determine what kind of day we will have. If God rules my life than He will make my day. It is all in how you take certain things. Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
6
To Be More Forgiving Forgiving others may be one of the hardest commands we have from the Lord. Luke 17:3-4 “Take heed to yourselves; if your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him; and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, and says, 'I repent,' you must forgive him." For God to forgive me, I must forgive others. Matthew 6:14-15 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
7
The question is always asked: “Don’t they need to ask for forgiveness?”No Jesus forgave those who crucified Him, even though no one asked for forgiveness, Luke 23:34 Stephen forgave those who were stoning him, even though no one asked for forgiveness, Acts 7:60. Life is too short to hold a grudge. Forgive and go on.Not forgiving will only hurt us. Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

Make Jesus Christ Your Lord And Savior 2010 will be a great year if you put Christ first in your life. Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His right- eousness, and all these things shall be added to you. I Peter 3:15 But in your hearts reverence Christ as Lord. Jesus wants to be your Lord and Savior. I Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.

Many like the idea of Jesus being their Savior. Making Him the Lord of their life is another thing. Lord— He’s been given all authority.Jesus has great power; Romans 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. A person having great power and authority; Ruler;Master
10
The question then is, are you willing to make Him: your Ruleryour Master Romans 6:12-16 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal bodies, to make you obey their passions. Do not yield your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but yield yourselves to God as men who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Do you not know that if you yield yourselves to any one as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
11
If you are a Christian, are you willing to resolve to make sure your life is right in the sight of God? To make sure Christ is still the Lord of your life? II Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Prove yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed you are disqualified. II Peter 1:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure,
12
Don’t resolve to do it sometime this year Resolve to do it TODAY II Corinthians 6:2 Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Today, is January 10 th, 2010. There is no promise of January 11 th. Hebrews 3:7-8 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness.
