You have choices Choose to walk away – you don’t need to surround yourself with mood hoovers, it takes one bad apple to turn a barrel! If you have been criticised remember feedback is a gift – you can keep it wrapped or unwrap the message. Remember not all feedback is valuable, unless it is fact based it is someone’s opinion. Do you value their opinion? Who are you viewing yourself from; Other people’s eyes or your own? Surround yourself with mood radiators to help your energy Smile!
15
Fear of being exposed! Reality check – Are you being your hardest critic? Reality check – What is the worst that can happen if you take a chance? Reality check – Preparation is important, but do you need to know more than you know right now? If so TAKE ACTION! If you don’t try then how will you know? FAILURE does not exist, you either WIN, you LEARN and then you do take different actions next time
16
Self talk Change the voice and turn the volume down Take a reality check – is it going to matter in 5, 5 and 5 Use your affirmation anchors to make you remember how amazing you are Give compliments and positive feedback to others Seek feedback and say thank you when you are complimented Say out loud the value you made today at work and at home

The power of anchoring Anchoring: When we think about a good time or a bad time, the emotions that were associated with that time come up too. This is called ‘anchoring’. The emotions are ‘anchored’ or attached to a thought, like perfume reminding you of someone; when you smell it, your body starts to re-create how you feel about that person. This shows that your body ‘remembers’ emotions. When you think of a time that had emotions attached, your body re-creates the emotions. You can make yourself feel good or bad, just by remembering something.
