4. Ministers of Matrimony Bride and Groom are the ministers. Priest acts as a witness to the covenant.

5. Rite of Matrimony  Ministers (husband/wife)  Exchange of vows  Nuptial Blessing Blessing given by the priest to the married couple on behalf of the Church.

6. Symbols  The bride and groom exchange wedding rings as a sign of their permanent commitment to each other.
