God Revealed a Plan to Renew Our Fellowship In the Mosaic Age God Prepared to Send a Savior o Judah’s family went to Egypt 400 years and God sent Moses to lead the Jews to Canaan o God gave His covenant law to the Israelite nation, beginning with the 10 Commandments - Exodus 20:1-17 Moses law was temporary - preparing for the Law of Christ o Jerimiah 31:31 o God gave Israel Kings - Saul, David, Solomon Israel’s kings were temporary - preparing for the perfect Holy & Divine King - Christ o God made Israel a great kingdom This kingdom was temporary - preparing for the Kingdom of Christ - The church - Daniel 2:44 o God taught Israel to offer animal sacrifices The sacrifices were temporary - preparing for the perfect sacrifice of Christ o Isaiah 53:5, 6 o God taught Israel to worship at the temple Israel’s temple was temporary - preparing for the new temple - the Church of Christ with the river of life and the tree of life - Ezekiel 47:12 The Tree of Life - Lost & Found 7
