Globalization Its an external driver of change Name for the process of increasing the connectivity of the world's markets and businesses. This process has speeded up dramatically in the last two decades as technological advances make it easier for people to travel, communicate, and do business internationally.

Why would a business globalaize? Saturation of domestic market Wanting to move colser to their global customers Benefit from lower labour costs Lower taxes Inecitves from goverments The recent growth in multinatinals is from emerging market to the develop world.

Advantages Larger markets Grwoth possibilities Global markets are developing Producing standarized products benefiting of economies of scale

Disadvantages of Globalization External Envoierment Some people think multinationals dont have long-term loyality to a country therefore there will be a negative external envoierment Although multinationals creat a lot of jobs they are often with bad condtions and bad wages. Internal envoierment Difference in skills and attitude Greater internation competition Diferent cultures may end in different tastes and buying habits Communication problems also dificulty to maintain a common purpose.
