2. Introduction: Ethics in Business  Because not all business is governmentally regulated, an action may be legal, but still unethical. This is where ethics really comes into play.  Mcdonalds is undeniably successful at marketing to consumers, but is it ethical to market directly towards children?

Mcdonalds Advertises towards Children  http://www.youtube.com/wat ch?v=Y_bQM25uJxA http://www.youtube.com/wat ch?v=Y_bQM25uJxA  Not only does Mcdonald’s advertise towards children, but it has increased spending in the last few years.  Through its ads Mcdonalds is encouraging unhealthy lifestyles, and is not presenting the risks of eating fast food.

4. Mcdonalds Chicken in China?  http://www.youtube.com/w atch?v=35vRpJfOazQ http://www.youtube.com/w atch?v=35vRpJfOazQ  Is it ethical to mislead consumers about food standards?  Even if it isn’t outright illegal, is it ok to sell expired products just to reduce costs and increase profits?

5. Are you depressed? Have a Big Mac!  Is it ethical to advertise fast food as a solution to mental illness? Even if it isn’t outright unethical, should advertising make light of illnesses?
