Young Leaders in Cricket Award To give opportunity for Young People between the age of 14 and 16 to acquire skills and competency in leadership that will allow them to volunteer within the community of their cricket club and/or school. 18. Young Leaders in Cricket Award Young Leaders Fund Raising module We will be encouraging all leaders to embark on a fund raising project for this year. Your target will be £40 per leader. You can work in a team, for your club or on your own to achieve your target. Funds raised will be ploughed back into the programme to ensure future generations benefit from the programme. Excellent achievement to have on your CV. An insight into how your club raises money to sustain cricket.

Young Leaders in Cricket Award The Pledge Your Club/School will: In conjunction with the (Your District) District Cricket, arrange for each Young Leader to undertake the ECB Young Leaders’ Award, First Aid, Scorers and Umpires and Institute of grounds man courses, as appropriate. Ensure all Young Leaders co-manage matches with a responsible CRB checked adult. The Young Leader will: Attend each course, notifying the course provider of any delay or absence within good time. Volunteer at each level for at least twenty hours within the same season and complete fund raising target of £40. As a Young Leader, continue to be a role model to younger cricketers and an ambassador for the school in the wider community. Record all volunteering activity where appropriate and return to club co-ordinator in timely fashion Parents will: Ensure their son/daughter attends each course, notifying the course provider of any delay or absence within good time.
