As Health Care Organizations embark on efforts to support the exchange of health information through Health Information Exchange (HIE) they learn about some of the major challenges they will face. Some of these challenges are realized quickly, while others are uncovered far later in the process. An effective approach to ensure Interoperability is Testing which is a critical factor to successfully exchanging Health Information - The Developers Integration Lab or the (DIL) provides a community based testing approach where participants can test their gateways against other gateways within a Self-Service Environment.
