3. Why did He have to suffer and die for me? I. Because of Adam's original sin all of mankind has sinned and therefore needs a savior. Rom 5:12-21

4. Rom 5:12 When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.

27. ... that he might bring us safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life by means of the Spirit.

29. 57 How we thank God, who gives us victory over sin and death, through Jesus Christ our Lord!
