3 of 20 Lot Attributes & Pallet Numbers / DA0405-55-w1 Last updated: 05-00 This option has been modified as follows: Purchase Receipts has been modified to allow lot and pallet details to be entered The lot number you entered in the header information is displayed in this window – it is validated against the Lot Details file to ensure it is unique Note: You can re-use a lot number if multiple order lines on a receipt belong to the same lot, or if items in a single lot have been received in multiple deliveries These details can only be entered if the system key STLOTINFO is set to YES Receipts option - Purchase Order Processing

6 of 20 Lot Attributes & Pallet Numbers / DA0405-55-w1 Last updated: 05-00 Receipts option - Purchase Order Processing The quantity received will be split automatically over the number of pallets entered with the last pallet taking up the remaining quantity – the pallet numbers are generated from the new system keys STFORMPAL and STCHARPAL See the Examples section in the Technical Data A separate batch record will be generated for each pallet number entered – the batch details will all be the same with the exception of the pallet number and quantity in the batch

7 of 20 Lot Attributes & Pallet Numbers / DA0405-55-w1 Last updated: 05-00 – Completing an individual works order When you complete an individual works order you can now enter a different unit for the completion quantity This field shows unit the assembly is held in If you select F7 - Units this window is displayed – in here you can enter the completion quantities and the alternative unit Note: If a conversion does not exist between the assembly units and the completed units you are prompted to enter the conversion details – these will be stored in the Stock Units file Works Order Completion option - Works Order Processing

17 of 20 Lot Attributes & Pallet Numbers / DA0405-55-w1 Last updated: 05-00 This is a new option This new option allows lot details to be altered if necessary The lot details are originally entered via the options Purchase Receipts and Works Order Completion Lot Details option - Inventory Control These lot details are product group dependent – the system key STLOTGROUP determines the product group and the Data Dictionary, used in conjunction with the Forms Editor, determines the layout of the window The lot details will be removed when the option Batch Details Cleardown is run

The following batch options will display the lot details: Batches enquiry Batch Maintenance Batch Inspection Control The following options will display the pallet numbers when browsing on stock batches: Works Order Issues - Works Order Processing Sales/Bulk Despatch Confirmation - Order Entry Purchase Orders (supplier returns) - Purchase Order Processing ALL stock issue and stock transfer options - Inventory Control When transferring stock to another warehouse via the option Inter-Warehouse Transfers, the lot details associated with any batches will also be transferred The following batch options will display the lot details: Batches enquiry Batch Maintenance Batch Inspection Control The following options will display the pallet numbers when browsing on stock batches: Works Order Issues - Works Order Processing Sales/Bulk Despatch Confirmation - Order Entry Purchase Orders (supplier returns) - Purchase Order Processing ALL stock issue and stock transfer options - Inventory Control When transferring stock to another warehouse via the option Inter-Warehouse Transfers, the lot details associated with any batches will also be transferred

Pallet numbers will be printed on the stock take card If an adjustment to a pallet number is required after the stock take card has been posted the following option can be used: Sundry Stock Adjustments – The pallet numbers can be displayed by selecting F8 - More then CR - Amend Note: If the pallet numbers are amended via Sundry Stock Adjustments the combination of lot number and pallet number will not be validated When the stock card adjustment is posted the amended pallet numbers will be copied back to the batch queue Pallet numbers will be printed on the stock take card If an adjustment to a pallet number is required after the stock take card has been posted the following option can be used: Sundry Stock Adjustments – The pallet numbers can be displayed by selecting F8 - More then CR - Amend Note: If the pallet numbers are amended via Sundry Stock Adjustments the combination of lot number and pallet number will not be validated When the stock card adjustment is posted the amended pallet numbers will be copied back to the batch queue

20 of 20 Lot Attributes & Pallet Numbers / DA0405-55-w1 Last updated: 05-00 As all the pallet numbers are stored in the Stock History file on the database they can be accessed using Report Writer and/or SQL – this provides you with unlimited means of tracing all ‘goods inward’ and ‘goods outward’ transactions
