2. What is LiveText?  LiveText is an e-Portfolio and data management system.  LiveText will be utilized in all teacher education programs beginning fall 2014.  Data provided through the use of LiveText is critical for the success of CAEP accreditation and program outcomes and improvement.

3. What are S.T. expectations in LiveText for fall 2014?  Cost of software is covered by UTM administration for fall ‘14 S.T.’s.  Access code will be provided to student teachers prior to or at Sept. training.  Training will be provided in mid-late September by Mrs. Fuqua.  Lesson plans from formal observations by U.S.’s will be uploaded into LiveText by student teacher.  Students may be able to view formal observations by U.S.’s in LiveText by mid-semester.

4. What do I do now?  First and foremost…DO NOT STRESS over LiveText!!! We are all learning together.  Be positive and supportive of this endeavor. We are using LiveText and it will help us do great things within our programs.  Place all formal observation lesson plans by U.S. on the jump drive you will be provided at seminar.  *Make sure you have lesson plans saved in another location as well.  Begin your experience at your first placement and wait for additional instructions at LiveText training in Sept.

5. TRAINING….. I will see everyone on September 18 th for our training session! A reminder and any additional information you need will be sent via email prior to meeting date.
