 What we plan to do next Digital Thinking, Smart Building: Driving Building Lifespan and Resource Efficiencies The Performance Gap Reid Cunningham @CunninghamReid Strategic Development Director, BAM FM

Traditional Construction Process, Knowledge and Data Transfer Design Operation Construction

Soft Landings, Whole Life Cost Enabled by Collaboration, Knowledge and Transfer – (The Vision) Design Operation Construction

UK FM Context

Project Robin – Operational Phase2 REVIT data Preparation via. Toolkits Classification Toolkit by Autodesk UK Consulting Team xml Uniclass2 import to Revit toolkit Applying Uniclass2 PR codes to Family Types within Revit Data Model to provide a common linking mechanism for Field360 and FM System FM System PPM regimes automatically created from Uniclass2 Coding system Agree Additional 360Field Data required

Project Robin – Operational Phase2 BIM360 Field – Navigation by end users Room or Asset listing to model or model to Room or Asset listing Navigational Views and hiding of Objects or separated Models Provides full facility to get to the equipment data for FM purposes ALL information available as required to FM Engineers

Project Robin – Faster First Fix New Job received by technician via tablet Report of Heating Issue in room 501

Technician visits room to perform checks. User has the ability to view services within room Technician has the ability to view plant and interrogate operating manuals including elements of commissioning data Project Robin – Faster First Fix

Project Robin PPM – Know Before You Go Technician receives job card via FSI GO. This includes Asset ID and Uniclass Code. The Asset ID enables the technician to search for asset within BIM 360 Field.

Project Robin PPM – Know Before You Go Technician has the ability to interrogate O&M ‘s including elements of commissioning information, fault codes and supplier maintenance manuals QR codes have been implemented to provide those without access to BIM 360 Field / FSI GO with access similar information.

‘The ability to interrogate issues whilst off site has been useful’ ‘The ability to view issues, visualise the asset and retrieve information such as Model / Serial Number whilst being off site will enable engineers to come to site with the knowledge of what is required to rectify the job’ Dean Dixon Project Robin - Results
