1. INTERCOLLEGIATE & OPEN COMPETITION 2014

2.  We are providing an opportunity to college going amateur artists to showcase their talent on a huge platform  We aim to preserve and felicitate our rich culture, language and festivals through the medium of this competition.  Kalarang - 2014 areas to be participated o Dance o Singing o Music o Acting o Sports ( Mallakhamb, Talwarbaji, DandPatta, Gymnastics )

3.  Participants can register as an individual entry(solo) or group entry (minimum 4 members).  All participants should be present at the time of auditions to perform.  Participants beyond Kalyan, Virar and Panvel and other out of Mumbai locations can send DVD/VCD of their performance videos at below given address: ◦ D-2558, Building- 206, Sector-06, CGS Colony, Antop Hill, Wadala (E), Mumbai – 400037.  Else you can upload your videos on you tube and mail the URL to mmprathisthan@gmail.com mmprathisthan@gmail.com  Following information is required to send while sending mail: 1. Name (individual/group) 2. Address 3. Contact no. for communication 4. College name  For the participation in the intercollegiate competition it is compulsory to submit permission letter from the Principal.  Entry fee – Rs.250/- only.

4.  It is compulsory for all the participants to follow the rules as described below.  All performances should be in Marathi only.  Time limit for the performance will be 8-12 minutes.  Whilst performing Mallakhamb, Sword Art, Dandpatta, etc. background music should be of Marathi style. If participants do not have such music piece, MMP can provide such arrangements.  Participants need to arrange costumes, properties, make up, hairstyle themselves.  During auditions, taking the lights and stage visual into consideration there might be some changes in the performance.  There will be a selection of 13-15 finalists for the final competition. Before the final event, finalist should attend at least three rehearsals.  If the participant does not qualify the selection round for the Final event then he/she can be a part of the Maay Marathi performers team (MMP will contact you in such case)

5.  1 st Prize: Rs. 25,000/ cash, Trophy  1 st Runner Up: Rs. 15,000/ cash, Trophy  2 nd Runner Up: Rs. 10,000/ cash, Trophy The finalists will get Rs.2500/- cash and trophy

6. Audition:  Date: 20 th, 21 st and 28 th September 2014 Grand Finale:  Date: 30th November, 2014
