What is ePerformance? A University-wide web-based performance management tool designed to – streamline the performance management process – be fully integrated with core employee data in PeopleSoft All employees will be using the same forms, processes and overall ratings across the university –12,000 Administrative and Professional employees and Staff (including HUCTW) –4,000 managers (including Faculty Managers) 2

Project Guidelines Encourage a strong ongoing participation from all the schools and units Streamline the process by moving to university-wide forms Provide flexibility to the schools whenever possible Expose users to the system early and often (Agile-ish methodology) Minimize customizations Adopt existing and new PeopleSoft functionality Follow the existing PeopleSoft release management process Respect the business cycle of performance management Leverage Harvard’s experience and expertise in training and change management Project timeline: 6
