4 TimeSaver Enhancements

5 TimeSaver enhancements will be in effect March 9, 2011 Enhancements are as follows: Batch approval to ALL sites per pay group at one time Validation of employee timecard approval on search screen Validation of Manager Sign-off on search screen

6 Batch Approval You can now sign off on time cards for a specific pay group for all of your sites at one time. An “ALL” selection is now available in the Sites field on the Manager Sign Off page.

7 Batch Approval From the Site drop down menu select “ALL” Select the appropriate pay period and complete sign-off

8 Validation: Timecard Approval Status Managers will now be able to see at a glance which employees have approved their timecards as well as which timecards have already been signed off by a Time Approver.

10 Implemented in 2003, the PeopleAdmin System’s Recruitment Module was designed to provide: An online mechanism for posting and searching of career opportunities at Florida International University 24-hour access to all users, hiring managers, and applicants Consistent contact with applicants throughout recruitment process via email communications Minute-by-Minute recording of all activity within the system PeopleAdmin Overview

23 Living Wage Increases

24 The Living Wage is set in accordance with the Department of Health and Human Services guidelines published in the Federal Register. In order to maintain the same salary progression on our salary grades, all pay range minimum salaries were increased by $300. All employees’ whose minimum salaries were below the new minimum received an adjustment to the new minimum effective February 4, 2011.

25 Living Wage Increases The new pay grade ranges are on the HR website 222 employees were impacted by this adjustment Financial Planning will transfer funding for E&G increases Funding for non-E&G increases will come from departmental budgets HR will notify employees and their corresponding HR Liaison

26 Other Updates

27 HR will send Vice Presidents the PEP delinquency reports. HR Liaisons will also be copied. Executive Area Budget Managers must approve EV4 access requests. Tonja Moore is the EABM for Academic Affairs.
