3 Form: should (not) + V Usage: –Giving advices, opinions Ex: If I were you, I would give up smoking. –Showing expectation or probability Ex: He’s a good student. He should pass the exam easily. Practice

4 Practice using SHOULD Give appropriate responds to the following sentences: –I have an exam tomorrow. –Someone has stolen my wallet. –John is always late for work. –The children are terribly overweight. –She’s having a flu. –Our train will leave in a few minutes.

5 Form: If S +V (past simple), S’ + would +V’ Usage: –Showing unreal conditions (present time) Ex: If I were you, I would give up smoking. Practice

6 Practice using CONDITIONAL SENTENCES TYPE 2 Answer the question with conditional statement of Type 2: –W–What would you do (or not do) if you could live your life over again? –W–What famous person you would like to meet if you had the chance? –W–What would you take with you if you went to live on a desert island? –W–Where would you visit if you could go abroad?
