2. The Crash Bang! Liam ’ s ears popped when he heard the explosion. What had happened? Had the engine broken? Did a meteor hit the rocket? He tried to control the rocket but he knew he was alone. He closed his eyes while the rocket crunched, disintegrated on Mars. When he opened the door. He opened one eye. He was so surprised that he was still alive. He jumped out the spaceship while flying in mid air. Liam could see damp, glowing sky and dry,red ground. Then he saw 3 paths left, right or straight ahead. Left Straight ahead right

3. The crossing Liam took the right path. As he was walking across as the black mouldy path which led to the infinitely massive spiral staircase, He knew there was no going back. As he was awkwardly walking down the path he could see some volcanoes spitting out ashes which disappeared into the quicksand.. 4. Chapter 2 the Crossing As Liam was turning left he came to a creepy bridge that was half broken and half full of cobwebs. He was so terrified to go across that he just wanted to go and turn back, but then he knew he had to cross because he couldn’t just turn back, he had to find a way home. About half way across the bridge, it wobbled a bit and when he felt it he froze. He did not move.He only moved when the tremendous wobbling stopped. He was amazed when it stopped because that meant he stopped trembling and panicking. But then he found a giant spider that had enormous hairy legs like a grizzly bears legs, he noticed that the spider was blind so he threw his gloves over the side of the bridge, then the spider jumps after them. Then he saw three tunnels that were all shaped in different shapes and sizes. One is all mouldy and sticky of goo that’s the circular one, the next one was a tunnel full of grass and flowers and the last one was a icy tunnel full of ice and snow. 5. Crossing the quick sand Liam took the right path. As he was walking across the black mouldy path, which led to the infinitely massive spiral staircase, he knew there was no going back. As he was awkwardly walking down the path he could see some volcanoes spitting out ashes which disappeared into something that looked like sand. As he started to go forward he realised his feet would not move. They were sinking into the sand. It was quicksand! Fighting the urge to panic, Liam looked around for anything that could help him escape this deadly trap. There was nothing but small, sharp rocks on the ground and a few boulders a little further ahead. That was it he thought, the boulders. Quickly, daring to hope that he could get himself to safety he uncoiled his belt from around his waist and made a loop. With a mighty throw he launched the belt at the nearest boulder. He missed. He knew this was the end. He took one last breath and everything went dark. When he opened his eyes he could feel that there was a room below. Everything went dark as he fell into the scary, freaky room. As he got to his feet he saw that there were three tunnels that disappeared into the ground. One was triangular, one square and one circular. Which one did he enter... Triangle Triangle Square circleSquare circle

6. Stone Stone Grass IceGrassIce Taken Prisoner Entering the circular tunnel, he had to jump over the trap door made of glass in front of him, to get to the other side. Not realising something was in this chamber with him, whispering to him to do this. He didn’t know that the voices were actually there and that somebody was deliberately forcing him to this. He thought that if he jumped himself he would be free, so he jumped. But he had misjudged his strength. His feet hit the floor with a thud, smashing the glass and he began to fall. As he was falling to the ground he was crying and thinking of a way out of this predicament. Unfortunately, his attempts failed and descended further. He knew this was the end. He took one last breath and everything went dark. When he opened his eyes he could sense he was in another chamber. Everything was dark, it smelt musky, as, he touched the ground it was damp. Feeling around he came across three openings. Scratched into the wall. Each with a symbol for what could be on the other side. One had an image of a Grass Staircase, the other of Ice Staircase and the last one a Stone Staircase.

7. Chapter 3 Taken prisoner Liam took the square tunnel and entered. He noticed that the tunnel was a deep, dark slimy tunnel full of mud and dirt. He was only a 12 year old boy who is all allone on Mars. He was afraid to go further, so he got his torch and turned it on, all the light spilled out and lit up his way down the tunnel. While he was going, he could see the tunnel shining with brightness from his torch. But then he noticed that a bit of slimy, green goo had fallen on to his head and splattered back on the sloppy, bloody floor. However he still carried on going down the tunnel. Then he saw a light, the light was glaring at him. The light was coming towards him, he was starting to panic if it was a monster waiting to have dinner or whatever. But he was waiting to get eaten, but then he boldly started to go forwards to the light but then he noticed that it was no monster it was a HUMAN! He stopped. He didn ’ t want to go more forward to the man, but he was warring some sort astronaut suit though so he shouldn ’ t be harmful so he took a few more steps forwards but then the man screamed at him he then took Liams hand and through him in a bag that was all full of mud and goo and it was so sticky but he had at least a little bit of light. The only way of getting out to bite through the great big bag. So he tore the bag with his hands but it was no use so. He quickly got of his helmet and bit through the bag and putted his back on his head. Stone Stone Grass IceGrassIce

8. Taken prisoner Liam decided to go into the triangular tunnel. It was a damp,creepy cave it was a little unusual then he saw long thing. Incredibly Liam saw a silent tall man. He was silent. He had huge eyes staring down at Liam. The mad astronaut raised his arm as high as he can then... He grabbed Liam arm and pulled him. Liam fell onto the floor while he got tied up. The astronaut spoke. He said his name was Mac but his friends called him mad Mac and he hates all people because he was a banned here. So Liam explain not all people are horrible. The astronaut wasn’t very amused but he believed him anyway. So the astronaut let Liam go because he didn’t want a poor person to live her in this crummy small cave like him. Then Liam said to him come with me. Mad Mac smiled and went along. They went through the cave. Then they saw 3 stair cases. One was ice, one grass, the last one was stone. Although Liam was afraid, he was brave enough to go. However mad Mac wasn’t up to this. So Liam went alone to continue his quest. Stone Grass IceStone GrassIce

9. The ending He pushed open the stone engraving on the wall beside him. A bright light shone straight into his face, for a second blinding him. As he regained his sight Liam could see a winding stone staircase. By the staircase stood a tall, slender and silent lady, with a long black gown. She was staring at him, with a cold stare showing no emotions. The lady was repeatedly saying you will never leave, you came here uninvited you have to stay forever. Liam was really scared. Why was she saying this? He moved slowly towards the lady, who seemed to look over and behind him. He took a chance and tried to run past her, the lady grabbed his shirt from the back, not releasing him, she had a tight grip. Liam realised she was the last face he saw before entering the quicksand. She was the presence everywhere he had been. She had been the one thing that was trying to kill him. He knew now that he would be on Mars for his entire life. She would never let him escape and go home to the ones he loved. He was her prisoner forever. 10. Chapter 4 the staircases! He started to run away from the man and back into the enormous cave. the cave was so large it had pillars going up them but then he sew a ladder going up the pillars, he started to climb the ladder. He kept climbing until he came to the very top of the pillar. He stood up back up to his feet and carried on his journey home. The only thing that he was worried about that if he was going the right way, or the total opposite to home. Maybe he wasn’t going the right way home, he might be going the way to his death! Would he get home or not? He stopped and thought to him self for a second. He started to worry about it. But then he kept on going the direction he was going. He heard a rumbling sound of rocks falling to the ground. He stopped. “WHOS THERE!” he shouted. He was trembling with fear. He didn’t want to go further, he went towards the rocks and looked for a creature your some sort of human. He started to walk backwards, and then he started to run. He stopped and found three staircases. One ice, one grass and one stone. He thought that one of them would take him home and he new that it would be grass, so he walked up the staircase. But then suddenly, everything turned white. Where was he? Was he home? OR NOT? B a c k To The Start B a c k To The Start

11. ENDING Liam walked up the ice stairs. When Liam reached the top of the stair case disappeared and there was no going back. Then he saw the ice world. He was amazed by what he saw. He walk further into ice world then he saw a massive, grey portal. So he went to walk though it. He reached his destination. He was shocked. He wanted to back but portal closed. Then he met his doom. He was in a fre tart ezing, cold room and he will freeze to his last breathe. B a c k To The S B a c k To The S
