4. Circular mass Are spherical were the materials radiate from a central point. Can be controlled, compact and thighly massed to completely random. The form is symetrical appearing the same on all sides and from all angles. Circular mass date back to the late 1700's and early 1800's Particulary from England, France and Germany, were originally were hand-held bouquets. Fan shape mass It can be called also radiating arragements, fan shape mass are half circle, one-sided and symetrically balance, there are build with many of the same principles as symetrical triangle. The characteristics can be: ● Semicircular, is mostly often wider than taller ● Technically they should be twice as wide as they are tall. ● A line material as first flower stablish the frame of work ● Mass material can be used ● Equal weight, physical and visual balance should be achived ● Each side should mirror each other

6. Lineal form Its a German origin, are true hybrid line-mass, This is reffered to by many as high-styles design. The characteristics are: ● Clearly define lines and angles ● A Unusual material form ● Strong lines ● Interesting shapes ● It may be straight and/or curve ● Vertical lines ● Horizontal and/or diagonal ● Material is been tipically in groups ● Negative space ● Rule less is more should be applied ● Basing and pillowing is a frecuent technique applied

7. Landscape Appear similar to vegetative design, many of the principles apply to both. This are the caracteristics: ● Mimics a large area of nature ● Groomed gardens ● Landscape nature is undisturbed ● Landscape is presented in a planned manner ● Organizing into planned groupings ● Graduated hights have to be appropiated ● folliage can represent bloomings ● A branch can represent an entire tree ● Taller material may be use on the back of the design ● Can use Foliage, rocks, bark, sand, moss, conks, twigs etc ● Formal characteristic is that all material as grown in the same enviroment and season

8. Line mass Line mass are a blending ot the three-line linearity of Japanesse Ikebana and traditional massed arragments of Europe. This often referred to in English flower. The characteristics are: ● Strong, define lines ● Line must be visual ● Geometric shapes ● Straight or curved ● Straight line form are vertical ● Horizontal inverter "T" and "L" shape and curve line, forms are Crecent "C" shape and Hogarth curve Note: Inverted "T's" are considered formal and elegant

9. Oval and pointed oval Circular and fan-shaped designs are usually symmetrically balance Ovals are stretched circles and can be completely rounded or sligthly pointed. This are the characteristics: ● Oval: Variation of circular form is elliptical ● Pointed Oval: Are more elogated than regular ovals ● There are designed All sided ● Hand-held wedding bouquets resembles this style ● All materials radiate from central point symetrically balanced ● Three points ovals have a slightly triangular appearence Note: The three point oval is rounded rather than consisting straight lines.

10. Parallel system and new convention Paralel placement and negative space between groups are defining characteristics. 1. New convention design have vertical and horizontal planes 2. Triangular Are among the most familiar of the geometric mass designs, and traditionally, they feature a quantity if materials, with little or not negative space and the characteristics are: ● maybe either symetrical or asymetrical ● maybe vertical or horizontal ● Most often one side ● with the exception of center pieces ● Smaller and ligther are used in the outer exptremities ● Larger and darker are use near the center ● Visual and physically balanced ● Particulary critical and more dificult to achive in asimmetrical design...Next

Symetrical triangles Equilateral or Isosceles ● Equilateral have three equal sides ● Perfect symetry in all directions ● The appeareance must be as tall and they are wide ● Isosceles have two equal sides ● Both are designed with equal weight Physycal or visual of the central vertical axis. ● May miror identical material in both sides ● Its consider formal an man made

Assimetrical triangles Are known as Scalene. ● May have obtuse, acute or righ angle ● 90 degrees ● Make a "Lazy 'L" ● Resembles an "A" with unequal angled legs ● Vertical axis positionned off center ● Materials are possitioned unequeal in each side ● One side may be visually heavier that the other ● Lighter weight side must be longer stemsr or heavier colors, textures of forms ● Asymmetrical triangles are consider informal.

15.
