Wrestling Season Begins November 16! Come out and join the team. We especially are looking for freshmen and sophomores. We need to fill spots at some of the lower weight classes (under 145 lbs.) and upper weights (over 180). Our first competitions at Hoover are Wed. 12/4, Wed. 12/11 (small gym) and 12/19. OPEN Wrestling Room every Tuesday and Thursday. We also have Strength Training in the weight room Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Everyone is welcome. Meet right after school by the wrestling room (in back of the Big Gym under the upper bleachers). Come work out and learn new moves and/or what the sport of wrestling is all about. We are looking for male and female wrestlers of all sizes. Come see if you have what it takes! Coach Hoskisson

Congratulations to Hoover Varsity Football PLAYER OF GAME JAQUILLE “SHAQ” BRADFORD SHAQ set a amazing school record with 8 SACKS against Patrick Henry and 23 total tackles. He had a safety and a touchdown. He leads the county with 20 Sacks!

A ATTENTION SENIORS CLASS OF 2014 College Application Workshops When: October 1-November 30 Location: Career Center Computer Lab Time: Monday-Friday 2:30-4:00pm (afterschool) Receive one-on-one help with your CSU, UC, & Private School Applications from the CAC Team.

Saturday School this Saturday Students must stay in Saturday School for the entire four hours to receive credit. All Saturday School dates will soon be up on the Hoover website calendar. November 2nd, 2013 8:00am-12:00pm. Come and clear your detentions and get off the LOP list. Students will meet no later than 8am in the front quad where they will be assigned a classroom for the four hours.

Detention This Week Detention will be held every day after school in Room 405/Computer Lab. Please tell students to enter through the outside door, not the Library. Detention starts at 2:30 and ends at 3:30. Students must be ON TIME to receive detention credit.
