◦ Look closely at changes for 2010 to make the best choice for you and your family After reviewing the plan options and details, if you are happy with the health, dental and or vision plan you currently have DO NOTHING. If you want a voluntary flexible spending account (health care and or dependent care) you must make that election. If you waive health insurance and you want some or all of your money in a DEPENDENT CARE flexible spending account you must make that election. If you want to change plans or the dependents you cover you must make these changes. If you want to participate in Get Healthy Now and receive the monthly premium incentive ($40) on health insurance you must take the on-line Health Risk Assessment (HRA). 4

WHAT IS IT? The absolute best way to pay for expenses you already have. It’s an account that you contribute pre-tax pay to, and then you pay for expenses out of it. Two different types available: Healthcare FSA which is used for medical expenses for the whole family and the other, Dependent Care FSA which is used for daycare expenses for child care or eldercare Depending on your tax bracket, you can save 25% to 35% in taxes on every dollar you put into the accounts. Account good for one calendar year and IRS requirements state unused funds cannot be refunded or carried over so estimate carefully. 18
