September revenue update: -$520M shortfall Governor required to make across the board (ATB) cuts All general fund appropriations reduced by 6.287% SCC’s share = $1.36M in FY 2011 Legislature can adjust, however… “You should consider these to be your budget reductions for this year and plan accordingly.”

Lapse salaries ATB reduction: Goods/Services/Travel Shift current positions to “soft” money Shift current non-personnel expenditures to non-state funding sources Reduce contingency funds One-time “carry over” funds Set funds aside on October 1 st
