OCD is a anxiety disorder Patients with OCD often obsess over something then try to avoid it Often occurs to men ages 14-19 & women 21-22 Young adults 18-24 have the highest risk Some people with OCD have only obsessions or only compulsions, doesn’t always have to be both What is OCD?

Has a 3 year old son She is a nurse For Jenny’s case of OCD she worries she will catch a disease from work, bring it home and pass it on to her son Her compulsion was to wash her hands repeatedly until they would bleed She later had to leave her work due to anxiety related problems Jenny’s Case

People have many different ways to deal with their problems Similar to dealing with anxiety Anxiety is what tells you there is danger You should not eliminate anxiety, just lesson it First step is to identify the problem Then best resolution is to research your problem Dealing With OCD

OCD is an anxiety related issue It involves obsessions then compulsions In the brain there is a lot more activity than someones brain that does not have OCD In Conclusion
