1. “By grace you have been saved through faith—and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God…” Ephesians 2:8 NKJV Team up with two people that you do not know well. Let each tell of a time when God moved powerfully in their life, when they didn’t seek it, deserve it or earn it. To close out this time, let each one simply offer thanks that God moved that way.

2. “But without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him…” Hebrews 11:6 NKJV Now take a moment to describe a time when you diligently sought Him… and knew that God had heard. Let each pray out thanksgivings for God’s direct intervention…

3. According to OT prophecy, only one born of David’s line, marked off by the Spirit’s power and resurrection could call God “father”. He would be sent to save/reclaim the world. When we pray “Our Father” we are declaring we are utterly joined to him, merged/melded into his body. This means we are joining his mission to save the world, to take it back from the powers of darkness… Celebrate your union with Jesus—thank God that you are joined to him, and have been given 1) the right to call Him Father and 2) the calling to re-claim earth from evil.

4. Our country is facing demonic attack. From our position in Christ we have authority to rebuke the powers and pray that God “embarrass the demons,” turn their schemes upside down. Pray 1)For our nation’s capital, that it be a center of godly legislation, 2)For our MP’s and their calling to oversee our country as stewards of righteousness, that God would guide their decision-making. (Name Yours by name)… 3)For the Canadian judiciary, that they would interpret the law in harmony with God’s rule. 4)Rebuke any and all unclean attack on the godly unfolding of the rule of law 5)Pray that God embarrass the enemy’s schemes by turning their temporary victories into defeat.

5. Continue to take your stand “against principalities and powers… against spirit forces of wickedness in heavenly places…” Eph 6:12 Rebuke the evil forces behind the areas that demonic forces have targeted in our society (and in our movement/churches): 1)Unclean sexuality 2)Lack of reverence of human life 3)The embrace of violence to solve issues rather than the extension of grace and forgiveness 4)Unbelief in God’s power in our churches 5)An anti-supernatural bias in our thinking that disbelieves in God’s power, even while proclaiming it 6)Lovelessness 7)Despair instead of hope in God’s power… 8)Prayerlessness due to unbelief...

6. Pray for: a) God honoring sexuality b) Reverence for human life from conception to death c) forgiveness as a way of life d) a return to the conviction that Jesus is to be experienced as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King in all of our churches e) Gifts of faith to believe God for the impossible to advance Jesus’ kingdom f) a baptism into God’s nature—a baptism into the love of God g) faith, hope and love as the center of our walk with Jesus h) prayer as the beginning, middle and ending of all we do in submission to God

7. “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word, that they may all be one, even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which you have given Me, I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them, and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that you sent Me…” John 17:20-23a NASB Unity defeats the powers of Darkness and wins the lost. Pray for our unity: as a movement of churches… (that churches forgive each other) As a General Assembly… (that we discern God’s mind in our deliberations) With other Christians from other movements… (bless their godly endeavors). Name two congregations in prayer—your own, and the closest non-Alliance church in your neighborhood. Pray for their unity with each other to reflect God’s unity for the world to see.

8. God is invisible. Glory is not. It can be seen wherever God’s people walk in the unity of God’s name. Pray for this to be realized in each of our 4 S regions: 1) Desert Sand, 2) Asian Spice, 3) Caribbean Sun, 4) Silk Road… Let each person pick one international worker and pray for God to move powerfully in each one. Aim to name a worker in each of the 4 regions. Pray: 1)For their assignment to be successful according to God’s agenda 2)For their families to prosper in the Lord 3)For their financial and material provision 4)For their spiritual growth as they work in difficult places 5)Rebuke any Satanic attack against them 6)Pray for the embarrassment of any demonic attack, turning out for God’s glory

9. Pray: 1)For the launch of the 5 th “S”—Sea to sea… 2)For new, kingdom effective church plants in each district in three categories: 1)Anglo/francophone churches 2)Ethnic congregations (based on language/culture) 3)New church plants with Christian converts from the world’s major religions 1)Muslim, 2) Buddhist, 3) Hindu, 4) Sikh, 5) Jewish, 3)For wisdom for Districts and churches to resource and staff these new endeavors

10. John 1:1-14 NASB In the beginning was the word, and the word was with god and the word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it.
