19 Archeology provides us with a vision into the past and describes to us what all of our ancestors lives were like. We receive a snapshot of the time periods that have defined culture and society today. History, through archeology, defines who WE are! As Thomas Jefferson once said, “History, by appraising the students of the past, will enable them to judge of the future.” 18
