3 CASE DESCRIPTION  We will concentrate for the puzzle game of Bellegame company.  We will concentrate for people from 18 to 30 years old and ususally use internet. They will have basic knowledge for play this game on facebook.

4 FOCUS  We will focus on:  General playability (difficult, interesting)  Graphics (Patttern of design, package)  User interface (easy to control, familiar with players)

5 TESTING PERSONS  Age distribution:  15-20: 8 people (27%)  20-25: 16people(53%)  25-30: 6 people (20%)  Sex ratio:  female(13  44%)  male(17  56%)  Game experiences: some levels  The number of users: 30 people

6 TESTING PROTOCOL  The actual game was deliveried to players after read instructions. Players had 5 to 10 mins to read instructions and got familar with the game.  Observers observed during the whole testing period and gave players certain help when they had problems.  When players required questions, observers had to write down those questions for later data analysis and then provided them help.

7 TESTING PROTOCOL Tasks:  Playing in individuals.  Player played this game in comfortable environment.  The playing period was about 10 to 15 minute per person.  After game completion, players need to fill in questionnaire.

9 GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE TEST PLAYERS Total of 30 players were participating in the test Players age and status: 86% were students aged 15-26 years 4 of the players were workers aged 26-30 and with academic backround 44% of the players were female Almost all the test persons announced to play puzzle games occasionally One person was playing a lot of puzzle games

10 TEST SITUATION All the testings took place in either testers or test persons’ home 13 people usually play game on facebook. 10 % wanted to continue the game after playing time

15 QUESTIONS 11-13 Question11: What was your overall impression of the game?  For the impression of the game only two user reported that game is interesting. For other users reported that game is boring and if can improve the game it will be better. Question12: Compared to other puzzle games, do you think what uniqueness of this game are?  For 3 users who have lot of experience of other puzzle games they said the story of this game is normal. Some said the game was worse than normal games. Question13: Of your opinion, what was unpleasant in this game?  Almost all the user think that they are graphic and level of the game.

16 QUESTIONS 14-15 Question14: Of your opinion, what would you improve in this game? After analysis all the answers, there are 3 most important parts need to improve.  Better graphics  Make it more challenging  Menu is slow, sounds are boring, no bg-music. Needs more “action”, something that makes it different from all the other bejeweled clones.” Question15: Other comments?  Only 2 of users answer this question. One of the users said it was quite good game to killing time.  The other user said this game should be improved a lot.

17 THE SUMMARY OF RESULTS  Recommended target group age is between 15-22 years old  The graphical design is adored by certain people not all.  After testing, seldom players don’t have strong willing to play this game again  The theme of this game is too boring  The game goals are not clear

18 THE SUMMARY OF RESULTS Improvements:  More levels  Better graphic  Add more thing for more interesting
