EBSCOhost provides : A collection of databases developed and provided by EBSCO and licensed to GALILEO for your use Access to the full text of thousands of magazines, journals, books, and pamphlets in many different fields Indexing and abstracting of thousands of other titles Basic and advanced search tools that are both powerful and easy to use Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

From the Library’s Web page,Web page Click on the link to GALILEO. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

From the GALILEO page, click the “Databases A-Z” tab. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

Type “ebscohost” in the Find Databases search box and click the “Find Database” button. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

Select the database you want to search from the list. “EBSCOhost Search” lets you search 30 full-text databases at one time. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide. Click on “more >>” to find out more about a particular database.

All EBSCOhost databases use the same search interface. Type in your search terms and press the “Search” button. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

If you misspell your search term, EBSCOhost will help you correct it. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

This is a PDF Full Text article. It is an image of the article as it was originally published. We can print the article or save it to a flash drive. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide. We can also e-mail the article to ourselves or to someone else.

PDF Full Text articles show the graphics and photos as they originally appeared in the article. Use the “Result List” link to return to the list of articles. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

HTML Full Text shows the article as a Web page. We can print, e-mail or save this article to a flash drive. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

HTML Full Text articles seldom include graphics or photos. Use the “Result List” link to return to the list of articles. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

EBSCOhost suggests other subjects that may help, if our search results are not satisfactory. Or, we can modify our search and run it again. “Choose Databases” lets us choose other EBSCOhost Databases to search instead of or in addition to our current choice. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.

Central Georgia Tech’s collection of EBSCOhost databases has been customized to best meet the needs of our students and faculty. Through GALILEO, we have access to 45 databases covering a wide variety of subject areas. Click “More Information” for a detailed description of the database. Click “Title List” for a complete list of the titles included in the database. Press a key or click the mouse button to advance to the next slide.
