2 2.1 Professional Code of Ethics
A Professional Code of Ethics states the principles and core values that are essential to the work of a particular occupational group.

3 2.11 Problems with PCE ~since there is no eminent ICT organization, no organization code of ethics exists for ICT professionals ~lack of governmental licensing poses difficulty to have a universal code of ethics ~each ICT organization may develop its own professional code of conduct +individual organizations have their so-called ‘code of conduct’

4 2.12 Impact of PCE +most codes of conducts contain these elements:
+aspirations of the organization; list of rules or guides, which members of the organizations are expected to abide; commitment to continuing education for those who practice the profession +Professional Code of Ethics has these following benefits: ~Improves ethical decision making—by having a PCE, there is a clear guideline for solving decisions, etc. ~

5 2.12 Impact of PCE ~Promotes high standard of practice and ethical behavior ~Enhances trust and respect from the general public. ~Provides an evaluation benchmark
