1. Dear Colleagues, The “25th National Congress of Parasitology on “Global Challenges in the Management of Parasitic Diseases (GCMPD) will be held in Lucknow, India, from October 16 th -18 th, 2014. The conference will feature wide range of topics such as host-parasite interactions, parasite developmental biology, virulence and pathogenesis, biochemical pathways, immune response, vaccine development, drug discovery and drug resistance, epidemiology and disease control. The three day event will feature keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations by a number of national and international scientists and academicians and will offer an opportunity to forge collaborations between interested scientists and academicians. Deliberations will focus on the following areas:  Cellular and Molecular Biochemistry and Physiology  Medicinal Chemistry, Natural products and Traditional remedies.  Chemotherapy, Mechanism of drug action and drug resistance.  Epidemiology, Taxonomy, and Phylogeny  Disease diagnosis, pathology and control.  Immune response and Vaccine development  Veterinary and General Parasitology.
