3 Outside Bone or Compact Bone Bone is a producer that produces calcium and phosphorus. Compact bone makes blood inside the bone and sends it out through little holes and passages called osteons.

4 Inside Bone or Bone Marrow Bone Marrow is the inner part of a bone. This is the main healing area of a bone. If your bone breaks then the bone marrow helps heal the broken bone.

5 Cartilage Cartilage is the material that surrounds the bone at a joint. This helps protects the bone from the warring down of bone tissue.

6 Tendons Tendons are muscles that surround the bone to allow the bone to have movement.
