2.  If a noun ends in a vowel (a, e, i, o, u), add ‘s’ to make it plural  Silla-  Boligrafo-  Estudiante-  Libro-

3.  If a noun ends in a consonant (d, l, n, r, etc) add ‘es’ to the end.  Profesor-  Papel-  Cartel-

4.  If a noun ends in ‘z’; change the’z’ to ‘c’ and add ‘es.  Lapiz-  Nariz-

5. Articles  There are 2 types of articles: definite and indefinite.  There are singular, plural, masculine, and feminine forms  Articles must agree in number and gender with the noun they modify.  El libro- Los libros  La silla- las sillas
