O Jesus Christ my Lord, with what great love you passed over the painful road which led you to death; and I, how often have I abandoned you. I am sincerely sorry for having offended you. Dear Jesus, pardon me, permit me to accompany you in this journey. You are going to die because of your love of me, and it is my wish also, to die to self, because of my love of you. I re-commit myself tonight to furthering your work in this community where I live.
