3.  In general, avoid complete sentences in Powerpoint presentations. I mean, what’s the point of having everything you’re going to say on the screen if you’re going to say it anyway? Besides, it strains people’s eyes to read so many monolithic lines from a distance, and you don’t want to hurt people’s eyes, do you? That sounds cruel and highly unethical. Besides, it’s boring, and who wants to be boring? Now look, I could have just emphasized this with three bulletpoints, or with just one and a picture. Wouldn’t that have been nice?
