2. Law 22  This law states that if someone steels or robs from someone they will be put to death (cruel)

3. Law 202  This law says that if you slap someone in a higher rank then you, you get whipped 60 times (cruel)

4. Law 195  If some one hits there dad then his/her hand will be CUT OFF!!!!!!!!!! (cruel) (OUCH!!!!!! Hammurabi hurt my hand !!!)

5. Why Hammurabi's Laws were harsh: His laws were harsh because, they had punishments that were really bad for thing that aren't as bad as they make it. If I smacked my dad, I would get my iPad and TV privileges taken away for a year. It wouldn't be as bad as GETTING MY HAND CUT OFF!!!!!!!!!!! Also, if someone stole something, they would go to jail. It's very unlikely that they would die (but it depends on what they stole)! I think they are just plain cruel!!!!!!!!!!
