Determining Credibility of Sources (Online)
15
Why is it Important to Evaluate Credibility?
16
When a writer uses a book or published article as a source in a research paper, there are not many questions to ask about the credibility of that source. Many editors have gone through the evaluation process before publication. Using books and the library databases as your first line of research options is a good strategy. The Web, however, is different. Anyone can put any information on the Web, and sometimes information looks more credible at first glance than it is on closer inspection. Ask yourself, "Is this source credible?" every time you choose a Web source. This is especially true of sources with no author or organizational affiliation. You will likely have to navigate to the homepage of the site to judge its credibility

Great Opening Lines Have you ever been in a place where you are different from everyone else and feel as if you don’t belong there?....Looking at two children holding hands can be interpreted many different ways in the early 1900s. How smart are primates compared to humans? At what rate is their intellect increasing? What kind of art do you consider old? The barren leaves plummet one by one without muttering a word each time they drop into the pool of utter emptiness. People walk by ignoring me, turning their heads the other way just so they do not have to face me. All I am asking for is love; to be noticed and nurtured, but I just cannot seem to get anyone’s attention no matter how much effort I put into it. …… Have you ever seen an image that is so unique it makes you want to question its meaning more deeply?
54
Great Opening Lines When you look at a person from the outside, you see nothing but what they want you to see. No one will ever see the true person unless that person allows them to.. Who are the culprits who left this polar bear and its cub on a sheet of ice and snow in the middle of the ice-cold ocean? What happens to us when we die? Imagine the stench of cannon sulfur mixed with the smell of rotting flesh!
