Thailand AIDC Implementation Plan  AIDC implementation follows Thailand’s TMCS implementation.  Thailand’s AIDC coordination with neighboring countries will start on 2015 onward  Thailand’s neighboring countries are:  Myanmar  Cambodia  Lao PDR  Malaysia TMCS’s AIDC interface will be tested in 2016.

Possible Obstacles in AIDC Implementation  Some scenarios need special AIDC procedure.  Thailand – Myanmar connection  Westbound traffics from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) mostly goes to Myanmar  Since the close proximity of Myanmar boarder, almost all aircraft are on climb to designated flight level when crossing boundary.  Thailand – Lao connection  Vientiane Airport (VTE) is very close to Thailand’s boarder.  Traffics to VTE are almost always descending at the boundary.  Traffics from VTE to Thailand are transferred between Vientiane tower to Udon Thani Approach Center.
