Outline Reason for being “All out” Repercussion of being “All out” Repentance for being “All out” Reward for being “All in”
5
Reason This is what the L ORD Almighty says: “These people say, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the L ORD ’s house.’” Haggai 1:2
6
Reason for being “All Out” Then the word of the L ORD came through the prophet Haggai: “Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?” Haggai 1:3-4 Wrong priorities
7
Repercussion Now this is what the L ORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.” Haggai 1:5-6
8
“Since you don’t have my priorities, I don’t have yours” Repercussion

Repentance This is what the L ORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the L ORD. Haggai 1:7-8 Start working for me!
10
Reward Think about this eighteenth day of December, the day when the foundation of the L ORD ’s Temple was laid. Think carefully…
11
I am giving you a promise now while the seed is still in the barn. You have not yet harvested your grain, and your grapevines, fig trees, pomegranates, and olive trees have not yet produced their crops. But from this day onward I will bless you.” Haggai 2:18-19 Reward
12
He abundantly blessed them and he adds no sorrow with it. The blessing of the L ORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22

What about us? Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. Romans 12:4-6
14
What about us? If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Romans 12:7-8
15
What about us? Start building His house! Choose His priority and He will give you more than you can ask or think.
16
You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house...And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him, "becoming" a holy temple for the Lord...this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit. Ephesians 2:19b-22
