Num. 13:2 — Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.

Num. 13:25 — And they returned from searching of the land after forty days. Num. 13:27-28 — And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
8
Num. 13:30 — And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
9
Num. 13:31-33 — But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land… saying, The land… is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
10
Num. 14:3 — And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
11
Num. 14:6 — And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: Num. 14:9 — Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.
12
Num. 14:11 — And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have showed among them?
13
Num. 14:22-23 — Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:
14
Num. 14:29-30 — Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me, Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein…
15
Num. 14:32-34 — But as for you, your carcasses, they shall fall in this wilderness. And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness. After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.
16
Num. 14:40 — And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned.

Exo. 33:9 — And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.
23
Exo. 33:16 — For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

25
Gen. 14:22-23 — And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, That I will not take from a thread even to a shoe latchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:
26
Eph. 2:8-9 — For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
27
Heb. 11:29 — By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
28
Eph. 2:8-9 — For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Deut. 9:4 — Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
29
Eph. 2:8-9 — For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Josh. 6:2 — And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.
30
Eph. 2:8-9 — For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Judg. 7:2 — And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
31
Eph. 2:8-9 — For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Isa. 10:15 — Shall the ax boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.
