or by grace are ye SAVED through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: 9 NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are HIS WORKMANSHIP, created in Christ Jesus unto GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them Eph. 2:8-10, “For by grace are ye SAVED through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: 9 NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are HIS WORKMANSHIP, created in Christ Jesus unto GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Cf. Isa. 2:2-3 (Lk. 17:10) Not By Boastful Works, But By The Works Of God! Are We Saved/Justified By Works?

Rom. 4:1-7, “What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2 For if Abraham were JUSTIFIED BY WORKS, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham BELIEVED GOD, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that WORKETH is the reward NOT RECKONED OF GRACE, BUT OF DEBT. 5 But to him that WORKETH NOT, but BELIEVETH ON HIM that JUSTIFIETH the ungodly, his FAITH is counted for righteousness….”

Are We Saved/Justified By Works? Jas. 2:19-24, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father JUSTIFIED BY WORKS, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how FAITH wrought with his WORKS, and BY WORKS was FAITH made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that BY WORKS a man is JUSTIFIED, and NOT by faith only.” Cf.
