Fermin Lasuen was the founder of San Fernando Rey de Espana. He founded the mission in September of Ferman Lasuen had also founded lots of other missions . This he was famous for. Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana is located near San Miguel arcangel and San Luis Rey de Francia. Unlike some other missions, San Fernando Rey de Espana was in Baja California.

There were many people who worked at the mission. Some of these people were, Padres and 782 Indians. The Padres taught the Indians how to grow and harvest. The Indians taught the Padres how to weave, hunt, and make soap. The Indians did most of the work and some wanted to rebel. Daily life was not easy those days.
