Welcome To Middle School
6 period day Block Schedule (1, 2 and 3 days) Semesters High School Credit Classes A main goal of middle school is to successfully transition you from elementary to high school. During your two years at Kellogg you will experience 6 periods of academic classes, long period days, a tutorial class and a semester schedule. Semesters are 18 weeks long instead of the typical 12 week trimester. There are four grading periods - 4 quarters with 2 semesters. Kellogg students also have the opportunity to access high school credit courses while at middle school.

Day 1 - Attend all 6 academic classes plus Tutorial Day 2 - Attend periods 2/4/6 and Tutorial Day 3 - Attend periods 1/3/5 and Tutorial

Core Year Long Academic Classes
Every Student Will Take: Math English Science Social Studies Health/Fitness is a Semester long requirement for both 7th and 8th grade students... Within your 6 Period day there are 4 yearlong core classes that are required. math, english, social studies and science. All students are also required to take one semester of Health and Fitness in both 7th and 8th grade.

All students will take 1 SEMESTER in 7th grade and 1 SEMESTER in 8th grade Students who choose to take 2 year long electives will take 1 SEMESTER of Zero Period Health/Fit, 7:40-8:25, Tuesday thru Friday PASS OUT PRACTICE REG FORM
