8 A FOCUS ON LEARNING  A Whole of school curriculum plan that is aligned clearly to the Australian Curriculum.  An emphasis on every minute counts.  Moderation of assessment practices within our school and externally.  Targets around student attendance in excess of 94% and 0% unexplained  Clear communication to parents about student performance. A commitment to no surprises in formal reporting.  A high level of commitment to minimise the distractions to classrooms.

9 TARGETED STUDENT SUPPORT  Development of processes to enable early identification of challenges and barriers to student learning and also invest in the programs in working to overcome these barriers.  Up skilling staff in student support to provide a service that is comparable with the best schools in the state.  A commitment to best practice around targeted student support. 5-6 week intensive, explicit support programs focused on definitive goals.  This will be evident across the school this year.
