Peace4Kids and Families Program Peace Works Conference 2009 n purpose of the conference is to bring program specialists from model programs here in the US and other nations to learn from each other about ways to utilize successful Social Emotional Learning strategies to both prevent violence and rehabilitate students who are already exhibiting aggression. n The conference will feature key note addresses from experts in the field of Social Emotional Learning. Also, presenters from several states and countries will present a variety of successful programs. 7
