4. CRICOS Provider Code: 0113B TEACHING IN KATHMANDU Rewarding! How has this experienced impacted on your teaching practices or teaching in the future? This experience has been helpful as I was put in situations in which I had to think on the spot and come up with activities. It has also been a challenge to teach with the language barrier but has prepared me for the future if I were to have an ESL student in my class, similarly I would be more prepared for having students of a different culture in my class.

5. CRICOS Provider Code: 0113B ANNAPURNA RANGES I particularly enjoyed the Annapurna Trek, although at the time it was a challenge it was an experience that I will never forget! It was a fantastic bonding experience and I felt it was a huge accomplishment to reach the top of Poon Hill and watch the beautiful sunrise.

14. CRICOS Provider Code: 0113B REFLECTION What did you value and learn most from the Nepal GEP? After the trip to Nepal, it makes you very humble and realise people have such difficult lives. Students are generally happy as they know no different but we can compare to our own lives and realise how lucky we are. They survive in poor conditions with little, if any, resources, yet are not resentful but just grateful for any help we can give them. You feel quite helpless yet I value their friendship and the kindness shown and hope to help in any way possible. I value their connection and hope to get a chance to revisit the school again in the future.
