There are two TEMPERATE ZONES between the tropics and the polar circles. The Sun’s rays reach the Earth at a greater angle than in the hot zone. Consequently, temperatures are mild and vary with the seasons. There is a HOT CLIMATE ZONE between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. The Sun’s rays reach the Earth at a perpendicular angle all year round, so temperature are always high. There is very little difference between the seasons.
