Go to www.myfoundationslab.com and click Student

Select “Yes, I have a Course ID” and enter your Course ID from your instructor (including hyphens) into the field provided. Click “Go” and then “Next”

If you have a student access code, select “Yes, I have an access code” and click “Next.” If you would like to purchase instant access online, select “No, I need to buy access“ and follow those prompts to register and enroll.

Review the License Agreement and click “I Accept.”

Enter or Create a Login Name and Password Click Next Enter your 6-part Access Code HERE Do you have a Pearson education account? Select “Yes” if you do and enter your pre-existing username name and password. Select “No” if you don’t and create a new Username and Password (be sure to write it down!). Enter your student access code in the fields provided and click “Next”

Enter School Country, Zip Code, School Name Enter First Name, Last Name, and Email Address Enter (or update) your personal information. Be sure to use an email address that you will check often! Enter the information for your school (including zip code) and select your school from the list (you may select “Other” if you do not see your school).

Click Next Select a Security Question and answer it.

Click Log In Now Congratulations! You are now registered for MyFoundationsLab! Be sure to print this Confirmation & Summary page for your records. Click “Log In Now” to enroll in your instructor’s course gradebook.

On www.myfoundationslab.com click “Sign In”

Enter the Username and Password you created and click “Sign In” Enter your username and password

TIP! If you ever forget your Sign In info, click the “Forgot your username or password link” and the system will email it to you!

Select “I have a course ID from my instructor and need to access the course” Enter your instructor’s Course ID exactly how it appears (type one “word” per box) and then click “Enroll.” Once this is done, you will not need to enter those codes again!

You will see an Enrollment Confirmation screen with the name of your course Click “OK.”

You are now at your personal MyFoundationsLab homepage! Click Browser Check to make sure your computer meets the system requirements.

You are now at your personal MyFoundationsLab homepage! Review your Announcements and then click any “Path Builder” or “Learning Path” to access your resources!

You may be asked to start with a “Path Builder” self- assessment. Click “I am ready to start” to begin.

Read the questions carefully; Answer each one and click “Next.” Click “Submit” when you’re done.

Based on your results, you will receive a personalized Learning Path showing which topics you know, and which you need to practice. Star= “Mastered” Pencil = “Needs Study”

Click the first module you need to study…

…or switch to a different content area by clicking in the blue toolbar.

Click here to take a Skills Check. Depending on your course, you may be asked to take a “Skills Check” which will refine your Learning Path further

When you feel ready, take the short “Post-Test” to demonstrate “mastery” of that topic. You need 80% on the Post-Test to demonstrate mastery.
