1. An Overview of the “General” Queries

2. Hello, and welcome to “Commonly Used Queries”. In this power point we will be going over the queries in the “General” folder. These are the most common queries. To begin we will want to log in to the Hobson’s Webcenter located at http://webcenter.applyyourself.com http://webcenter.applyyourself.com If you are unable to log-in or forgot your username/password please contact ryan.sayers@uconn.edu or lisa.pane@uconn.edu.ryan.sayers@uconn.edu

3. First we will want to navigate to the application module. This is illustrated to the left.

4. Once on the application module, open the “Search for Applicants” page. Under the “search using query” you can use the user query dropdown to navigate to any query. The names that are not tabbed are the titles of folders. Under the General folder there are many useful queries pre-built for your use.

5. This is a different view that shows all of the queries in the general folder. Let’s take a look at them.

6. Each of the different queries have descriptions that help explain what they are used for, but I’ll go through them one by one. Applicant Cancel/Decline is a query that finds all applicants who chose not to accept their admission offer to Uconn. Applicant enrollment == yes is a query that finds all applicants who chose to accept their admission offer to Uconn. Department Decision is Admit is fairly straightforward, this query will find all people who have an ADMIT in the internal section.

7. This query find all applicants that have a blank for their department decision. This query finds all applicants that have a department decision as deny.

8. This query finds all applicants whose department decision is waitlist. This query finds all applicants whose final graduate decision is cancel. This query finds all applicants who final graduate decision is admit.

9. This query finds all applicants who final Graduate decision is a cancel. This query finds all applicants who final graduate decision is deny. This query finds all applicants who have a graduate decision is matriculate.
