5 Megan: The two levels of drills are good because the teachers designed them in a consistent way. That is, they test the two levels of students the same content with the same process to get the similar product. Jennifer: It is a good idea to pre-teach some key words to the content.

Since this is a first listening, all students need to do is find the correct order. Jennifer: Checking enables basic listeners to stay focused on key information.

26 2015/5/9 26 SCENE ENCOUNTERRECOVERY The station master noticed the old lady because a. the old lady once asked the master for directions. b. the old lady acted strange. Basic Level Megan: The word “strange” is used pretty strange! But I do like the way you pointed out the framework of this clip! Oh, every group was running out of time! Jennifer: To lower the difficulty, it is advisable that the instructors give more questions on details before this question on main idea.
