(Is God local?) Finite Godism (Is God limited?) We do need to keep in mind that there is not a defined theology at this point.

26. 14 Then Abimelech brought sheep and cattle and male and female slaves and gave them to Abraham, and he returned Sarah his wife to him. 15 And Abimelech said, “My land is before you; live wherever you like.” Abraham seems to get away with the deception. Loss of a trading partner as well as a bad reputation, which would effect further trading with others. Abimelech, probably a bully, does get put in his place. grasps accountability to God, and fully repents. perhaps, understands Sovereignty better than Abraham here. Live where ever (else) you like.

27. 14 Then Abimelech brought sheep and cattle and male and female slaves and gave them to Abraham, and he returned Sarah his wife to him. 15 And Abimelech said, “My land is before you; live wherever you like.” 16 To Sarah he said, “I am giving your brother a thousand shekels of silver. This is to cover the offense against you before all who are with you; you are completely vindicated.” Note the slam here: “brother” Abimelech gives Abraham the bride-price, and returns Sarah. This act implies his ignorance of Sarah’s status. Abimelech regards Sarah as faultless in this.

28. 14 Then Abimelech brought sheep and cattle and male and female slaves and gave them to Abraham, and he returned Sarah his wife to him. 15 And Abimelech said, “My land is before you; live wherever you like.” 16 To Sarah he said, “I am giving your brother a thousand shekels of silver. This is to cover the offense against you before all who are with you; you are completely vindicated.” 17 Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, his wife and his slave girls so they could have children again, 18 for the LORD had closed up every womb in Abimelech’s household because of Abraham’s wife Sarah. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sarah’s sojourn must have been for at least a few months... Some commentators believe that this was a problem with the men, seeing that Abimelech needed healing.
