1. The Lonely Path!
2 Timothy 4:9-22

2. LOVE FOR THIS PRESENT WORLD!
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him…..” - 1 John 2:15-17.
“friendship with the world is in enmity with God.” - James 4:4

3. THE GOSPEL WILL BE OPPOSED!
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,” - Roman 1:18

4. NO ONE WILL STAND BY TRUE BELIEVERS!
Christ “knew ALL men” so He did not commit himself to them – John 2:24.
The Lord said, “curse is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord.” - Jeremiah 17:5.

5. OUR HOPE in This hopeless world!
“…I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” - Heb 13:5-6.
Presence of God accomplishes two things in Apostle Paul’s life.
STRENGTH TO TESTIFY
DELIVERE FROM THE LION'S MOUTH

6. In conclusion
“But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.” - 1 Peter 4:7.
